Community Squares 2014 Donation

Brant County SPCA

Brant County SPCA

The Community Squares contest is about bringing the community of the City of Brantford and Brant County together for fun and entertainment. A chance for the residents to win some really exciting prizes and a large Grand Prize of $10,000 cash!

It's also about something even more important to the community. The Brant County SPCA is a not-for-profit, non-government funded organization that has been providing animal protection and welfare services in the City of Brantford and the County of Brant for over 40 years. These services include a home for homeless animals, investigation into animal cruelty and neglect, pet adoptions and humane education. The animals that the organization helps include but are not limited to cats, dogs, rabbits, degus, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and the occasional snake or two.

Although the domestic animals are housed and cared for at the shelter, the Brant County SPCA also rescues over 1000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals annually. These animals once captured are taken to Brant County Wildlife Rescue and are entered into their rehab program.

We at Community Squares have chosen the Brant County SPCA to be the donation recipient of a large portion of the revenue generated from the contest. In addition to the Grand Prize draw on New Year's Eve 2014, Community Squares will present a sizable donation cheque to the Brant County SPCA!
